What is hyperbaric chamber therapy?
Hyperbaric therapy , also known as Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mild HBOT) is a oxygen chamber that is around two and a half times higher than the normal pressure in our atmosphere. Because of the increase in pressure, oxygen immures the red blood cells allowing the extra oxygen to be deeply penetrated within the body’s tissue. Oxygen will saturate every fluid in your body. For Example joint fluids, lymphatic fluids, and cerebral spinal fluids. The Increase in oxygen accelerates bone, skin, and muscle regeneration. It helps the immune system fight infections and has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect within the body. The increased oxygen heightens mental acuity and cognitive function. Overall the hyperbaric oxygen therapy accelerates the healing process, strengthens and restores the immune system, and creates a better internal environment for the body as a whole. After one session in the chamber these effects will last for 3- 7 days. In order to have a cumulative effect sessions must be repeated within 7 days of each other. At 20 hours, collateral circulation will occur with full sized blood vessels , this means that at any location where there was a restriction in blood-flow, your body will grow new vessels to bypass the restriction. These vessels will be normal size not the microvessels that would normally occur. At 40 hours, your body will activate stem-cells and cause them to migrate to the primary area of damaged tissue. For example, in a stroke patient the stem cells will migrate to the brain in heart attach patients the stem cells will go to the damaged heart muscle , and for diabetic patients the stem cells will go to the pancreases. It is important to understand that the stem cells will only migrate to what the brain considers to be the highest priority tissue. Therefore many patients desire to do more than one round of treatment.
What benefits are the for the Body?
The conditions that are being found to benefit from the healing force of oxygen under pressure include: Sports injuries, Cerebral palsy, Brain injury and ischemic stroke, Heart attack damage, Multiple Sclerosis can benefit in early stages, Post Surgery recovery, Wounds and chronic ulcers, Migraine, Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Swelling of the brain, arthritis, autism, attention deficit disorder(ADD), auto-immune disorders, Bell’s Palsy, cardiovascular disease, Crohn’s disease, dermatological conditions, diabetes, dementia, interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) and colitis, Lyme disease, learning disabilities, macular degeneration, neuropathies, pervasive development disorders, PTSD, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, reconstructive surgery, spinal cord injury, stroke, and much more.

We provide free Wi-Fi. Each Session lasts around one hour or ninety minutes.
Treatment packages are available for chronic and neurological issues. This package includes 40 one hour sessions.
How many treatments do I need?
Every patient is unique therefore we proved different options for our HBOT sessions.
First is the Single Session: $125.00
This includes a sixty minute session inside the hyperbaric chamber.

CONTRAINDICATIONS & SIDE EFFECTS
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is painless, with possible minor side effects. Please be aware of one possible side effect that may occur at the beginning and end of treatment. This occurs during the compression and decompression process. It is said to be a sensation of fullness or popping in your ears. This minor discomfort can be alleviated by yawning. Some have explained it as the same sensation as taking-off and landing when flying.
For those who are claustrophobic, we strongly suggest bringing a tablet or laptop to provide a distraction.
~The chamber is very roomy once fully pressurized~
While high-pressure oxygen therapy has the safety risk of using 100% oxygen and therefor the possibility of
oxygen toxicity, mild HBOT offers the same physiological benefits with only minor, temporary potential side
effects.
Some side effects may include temporary ear pain, mild sinus discomfort, and very rarely temporary myopia
(nearsightedness).
Please be aware of the following contraindications and drug interactions:
- Congenital Spherocytosis
- COPD/Emphysema with air trapping
- Untreated Pneumothorax
- Upper Respiratory Infections—Infections can make it difficult for the patient to clear his/her ears. This can result in inflammation of sinuses.
If you are currently taking any of the following medications, then hyperbaric oxygen therapy should be
avoided:
- Cis-Platinum—a chemotherapy agent
- Disulfiram (Antabuse®)—oral tablet used to treat alcoholism
- Doxorubicin (Adriamycin®)—a chemotherapy agent
- Mafenide Acetate (Sulfamylon®)—topical cream used to prevent and/or treat bacterial or fungalinfections
